why hire a coach?

There are tons of free training programs and resources out there, so why hire a coach?

Think about this… although some pre-created programs may follow a safe guided structure, it’s still not specific to you individually as an athlete. As individuals, we handle training differently, our needs are different, as are our goals.

And there’s no such thing as a one-size-fits-all program.

That’s where having a coach can come into the picture. Not only are you receiving a fully customized program that’s based on:

  • Where your current fitness level is

  • Your experience level

  • What you’re looking to improve

  • Your life (work, schedule, family, etc.)

  • Your history with training/running (ie. if you have history with overtraining, burnout, injuries, successful training cycles, etc.)

But you also have someone who will:

  • Keep you accountable

  • Pay close attention to your training

  • Share feedback

  • Ensure you’re training smart

  • Adjust your schedule if needed

  • Educate you

  • Support you

  • Challenge you

  • Nerd out on running with you (haha)

  • Be there for you on the days that go great,

    and even more on the days that don’t

  • And always be in your corner

Your goals become your coach’s goals… whether that’s running your first mile, or running a qualifying time. Our team will support you in your pursuit, do everything in our power to best prepare you, and make sure you have fun along the way!
