In an effort to support our athletes who are running for something bigger than themselves, we’re excited to create this space for you, the visitor or friend to our community, the opportunity to consider donating to their cause! Below you’ll get to see and learn more about why each athlete is running for their charity, along with a link to their donation page.

From all of us at Relentless Runners, thank you your consideration!

Aubrey Gainfort: St. Jude,

I choose to be a St. Jude hero as I believe in the cause to save as many children as possible to allow them the opportunity to live a joyous, full life. This organization allows families to have hope and see that miracles happen everyday.

Kristen garzone: in it 4 life,
hartford half marathon

On October 12th, I will be running the Hartford Half Marathon with the Jordan Porco Foundation as part of my Philly Half Marathon training. I am realyl excited to put my miles to good use and to continue to run to end the stigma of mental health.

Ever since my teenage years, I have struggled with depression and anxiety. Mental Illness has always been and will always be a big part of my life. While I was often afraid to speak about my struggles, now I want to keep being more real about real mental health topics to help #endthestigma. It wasn't until I after I had my daughter Ellie where my mental health really took a turn. While suffering from postpartum depression, at 7 months PP, I lost one of my best friends to the same mental illness.

I found that as I started to open up and share my truths of everyday life, the more people chose to share their own insecurities and stories of their experience mental illness with me as well. Those messages continue to give me the courage to share more and more of my not-so-perfect life. It has also become another form of therapy and as I continue to share, it helps me honor my dear friend Kristin by spreading awareness, hopefully helping someone else out there that may be struggling and is too afraid to ask for help; just like I was.

Samantha smith: g-pact virtual 5 / 10k

We are raising money in honor of my friend, Dolia, who had gastroparesis like myself. She died from complications. So we run for her, and all those who have died because we don’t have a cure or better treatment.

Britt stanford: semper k9 Assistance Dogs,
Marine Corps Marathon

I am so grateful for the opportunity to
support Semper K9 Assistance Dogs as I run the Marine Corps Marathon, and
to run for a reason! Semper K9's mission is to enhance the quality of life
of injured, wounded, and critically ill members of the US Armed Forces and
their families by providing them with assistance dogs, who are often
rescues. I chose this organization because I love dogs, and wanted a way to
support those who put everything on the line to serve us.
